Go back in time with Peri, Henry, and Max to the early twentieth century during the mass immigration to America.
It might be a fun trip except for a few minor details like they don't know their way around New York City and they have no idea how they're going to get home. Their quest for answers takes them to Ellis Island and the tenements on the Lower East Side, where they search for the key to solve their mystery.
With each new person they meet, including young Annie Moore (the first person to arrive at Ellis Island) and famous photographer, Jacob Riis, the children learn more about what they have to do to make it home.
(Too bad it doesn't seem to help)
